Beauty Talks with Javier Díaz, Mister Canóvanas Model 2012!

Javier Diaz is noted by our readers as the sexiest among the batch. This was proved after being named as Mister Model Hot Body 2012 during the Body and Style Competition held weeks ago. Besides, our readers and staff of Beauty Mania credited Javier with his handsome looks. Girls would definitely like him!

BM: For the benefit of our international readers who may not be familiar with you, give us your story from before the Misters of Puerto Rico competition to where you are today.

JAVIER: My name is Javier Diaz and I’m 25 years old. I’m a marketing student and I work as a Digital Advertising Specialist. I represented my country in an international pageant when I was a teenager, since then I always wanted to do it as a young adult. Now I have the opportunity to become part of the best male national pageant, Misters of Puerto Rico.

BM: What prompted you to join Misters of Puerto Rico 2012 pageant? What makes you a stand out in this competition?

JAVIER: Since I represented Puerto Rico in an international pageant in 2006-2007, I wanted to be part of Misters of Puerto Rico. I’ve always admire past winners and their path through history. What makes me stand out in this competition is my maturity and how, at this point in my life, I’m driven to complete my goals.

BM: Since Beauty Mania is a site dedicated to beauty, our readers want to know what beauty is meant to you.

JAVIER: To me beauty is how you reflect at the outside how you feel in the inside. To be beautiful you just need to feel it!

BM: You’ve been busy since the Misters of Puerto Rico 2012 competition has started, how would you balance your personal training work, participating in the pageant’s main events, and still stay in such amazing condition?

JAVIER: Being a Mister is a life style! You just have to balance your time and make room for things that matter in your life. I work, study and workout every day and I enjoy every single second of it!

BM: What kind of exercises or workouts do you do?

JAVIER: I basically lift weights 5 to 6 days a week. I’m not into cardio!

BM: Do you follow any diet? If so, what kind of diet do you follow?

JAVIER: Unfortunately to stay in shape I have to! I basically eat a lot of chicken every day and try lower carbs but the worst part is that I have to eliminate sugars.   

BM: We are just curious; do you have any facial beauty secrets?

JAVIER: Not at all! Just a healthy lifestyle and a lot of positive energy.

BM: What part of your body are you proud of?

JAVIER: I’m proud of every single part of my body. It might not be perfect but it’s what makes me who I am. After all, our defects are what make us different!

BM: What part of your body do you think needs improvement?

JAVIER: Even though I’m completely satisfied with my body there is always room for improvement. I will always try to work every single part of my body. It’s just  part of a healthy lifestyle.

BM: Sleep is important for a man to stay handsome at all times. How many hours of sleep do you get per night? Any sleeping routines?

JAVIER: I admit that I don’t have time to sleep much! Between work, studies and Misters of Puerto Rico, I just don’t have that much time left. Sometimes I don’t sleep as much as I should but as long as I doing what I love, I’m ok with it! 

BM: How do you cope up with stress?

JAVIER: In the past I used to relive stress by eating a Hershey Pie! Now since my stress relieve method is far away from my diet, I try to walk and clear my mind.

BM: Do you take any nutritional supplements/ vitamins? If so, what are those and why?

JAVIER: I take my chocolate protein shake. The best part of my day!

BM: Can you describe to us your fashion sense and style?

JAVIER: My fashion sense is very relaxed. I like wearing sold color t-shirts, jeans and snickers. As long as you have the right attitude you can make a potato sack look like a million dollar outfit!  

BM: Finally, what message can you give to all readers of Beauty Mania, especially to those young men who want to follow your footsteps as Misters of Puerto Rico candidate?

JAVIER: First of all I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to ready my story! Just be yourself and try to enjoy every single step you take in life. Misters of Puerto Rico is an international platform for young men that want to make a difference in the world. Being part of a pageant like Misters of Puerto Rico will give you the opportunity to become the leader that others try to emulate.
